I am proud of the VPS employees who have managed to deliver the solution within the short time available, while at the same time, all the VPS Road Map deliveries have also been delivered. I would like to express my gratitude to the clients who challenged us, made their requirements but also contributed to the creation of the best possible solutions. I am very pleased that a majority of the providers have chosen VPS’s comprehensive solution in tough competition with companies such as Tieto, Advent and Evry.
I would like to emphasize how important it has been for us to give you information of current interest in the VPS Newsletter. I hope we have managed to provide important and interesting articles that have contributed to greater understanding of both VPS as a company and the securities industry in itself. After almost 6 years as CEO of VPS, the time has come to pursue a new path. I have been fortunate to take part in the challenges that VPS has met, both in terms of system renewal, new regulations, new products, increased competition and internationalisation. When I, on 1 October, will hand over the office to Audun Bø, I am confident that he, in an excellent way, will lead the company into a future that will place even greater demands on VPS as a high-tech company. I am sure that there will be many good projects and challenges that my colleagues in VPS will handle in a very satisfactory manner, always to the very best for the clients.
