This year it will touch the ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 messages sent through the SWIFT system. Both corporate actions and funds messages will be upgraded, whereas the settlement messages will see no changes this year. VPS’ SWIFT Test & Training interface has already been updated with the new release features and is already operating in Future Mode (SR2016 compliant). Those of our clients affected by SR2016 will receive detailed descriptions of the changes via the VPS Change Notification.
SWIFT Release 2016
Every year in November, SWIFT undertakes an upgrade of its messages. The 2016 upgrade, SR2016, will go live on Sunday 20 November.
