In September, we were pleased to announce that all of our 157 customers offering VPS Investor Portal now employ the new solution. With that, we can mark yet another item as checked in the VPS Road Map – one quarter ahead of time, and we are happy to deliver a far more user-friendly service with expanded functionality to approximately 700,000 investors.
VPS Investor Portal provides investors with a comprehensive overview of the return on their VPS-registered securities across accounts and customer connections, and functions as a platform for connecting investors and issuers – safely and efficiently. In addition to detailed information about their own portfolio, the investors get access to corporate services such as registration to general meetings and participation in corporate actions, as well as access to an extensive fund trading module.
The purpose of VPS Investor Portal has always been to make investor more self-sufficient. By focusing on simplifying the processes towards the investor, we recently launched new self-service solutions for account opening and electronic signing of agreements, transfers and ongoing reporting of the Share Savings accounts.
Feedback from both customers and end users have been positive – they are pleased with the new design and the new self-service solutions. This is supported by a positive trend in the usage of the service.
We are currently working on a solution for an internet based “Client on-boarding”, and the process will be delivered as modules that can be assembled to meet different customer needs and requirements. We are excited to welcome all our customers to the new VPS Investor Portal and look forward to delivering new, value-adding services to the self-sufficient investor.
